There are a couple of festivals being held this weekend at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Saturday night the 6th annual Zenshin Daiko Taiko Festival will be held starting at 7:00 PM. Taiko is a form of Japanese drumming with roots that trace back over two thousand years. This event will host some of North America’s best Taiko performers. Admission is $15.00. Sunday the MACC hosts the 14th annual Ki Ho’ Alu Slack Key Guitar Festival. The event starts at 2:00 and run through 7:00 at the A and B amphitheater. This great day features some of Hawaii’s best slack key guitar players and is a true celebration of Hawaii. Best of all, the concert is free.
