Honua Kai Information

Billy and I had a chance to attend the Realtor kick off for the new Honua Kai Resort to be built in Kaanapali by Intrawest. Honua Kai is the first fee simple whole ownership resort to be built along this stretch of beach for over 20 years. This has led to a lot of anticipation and strong demand. Based on the models that we were able to view and some of the plans that were discussed, it is safe to say that Honua Kai will be a world class resort. Here are some of the other important things we found out last night:

Studios, One bedrooms and Two bedrooms and Three bedrooms will be sold.

Prices at Honua Kai will range from the low $500s to over $3.5 million.

Sales will be based on a limited priority reservation system.

Reservation Agreements will become available on September 26th.

Reservations will start to be accepted on October 11th. Reservations will require a refundable $20,000 deposit.

The Honua Kai selection event will be December 10th with firm contracts written and 10% deposit.

The initial selection will be for roughly 250 units.
