The Maui Arts and Cultural Center will be hosting the Maui Film Festival’s First Light event starting tonight through December 30th. This event is a cinephile’s dream. First Light features the year’s most critically acclaimed big studio, independent and , documentary films in the cozy confines of the Castle Theater. Films run daily at 2:00, 5:00 and 7:30 with a brief break on Chistmas Eve and Christmas. There will be a few 9:30 PM screenings as well. Individual tickets are priced at $12 per show for 5:00 and 7:30 PM performances. Shows starting at 2:00 and 9:30 PM have an admission fee of $8. Four film VIP fast passes are available for $40.
