The Maui Invitational is underway as of today over in Lahaina. This early season NCAA basketball tournament always draws some of the best teams in the NCAA. This year’s field includes #1 North Carolina, #6 Texas, #8 Notre Dame, Indiana, Oregon, St. Joseph’s and Chaminade. The tourney allows fans to check out their favorite teams in a beautiful locale and it gives Maui residents an exposure to big time basketball.
