Maui Sugar Cane

Much of Maui’s agriculture is dedicated to the production of sugar cane. A good deal of the central valley of the island is planted with a sea of Sugar Cane. The fields are planted on different cycles and harvested via burning. Here are some cool photos that my sister in law Carla took of the island’s sugar cane fields.
