Haiku is a beautiful community situated on the North Shore of Maui. The area is on the windward side of the island meaning that trade winds blow through much of the year keeping the weather cooler than other coastal areas of the island and more lush due to night time and morning trade showers. Haiku is a one time agricultural hub of Maui. While Pineapple and sugar cane continue to be grown today, the rural area has become an increasingly popular residential area.
