We have seen a growing number of Maui foreclosures as the island economy struggles due to the current recession. While we have not been as hard hit as some mainland communities, you will find a broad cross section of properties within the Maui Foreclosure inventory. Typically, these properties are purchased without a seller's disclosure statement and are sold "As-Is". These properties may also come without appliances, show signs or neglect or may have back association fees. That being said, some foreclosures are proving to be great opportunities as they can be priced well below recent comparable sales.
