Maui Short Sales
The current economic downturn has led to a growing number of listings on Maui known as short sales. These are properties where the market
value is less than the sum of the transaction costs and the owner's current debt to any lien holders. Short sales are contingent upon
seller and lien holder approval. While we have assisted buyers in purchasing some great short sale properties, it is worth noting that
these transactions can have their challenges. We address the definition of short sales
