The 85th annual Maui County Fair kicks off tomorrow with the fair parade at 4:30 PM. The parade runs from Maui Community College to the fairgrounds next to Baldwin High School in Wailuku. Gates for the fair open at 5:00 and the event runs until 11:00 PM on Thursday. Fair hours for the rest of the weekend are 5:00PM to Midnight on Friday, 10:00AM to Midnight on Saturday and 10:00AM to 11:00PM on Sunday. This is a great event for the whole family. In addition to all the rides and games, there will musical entertainment, comedians, hypnotists, arts and crafts, orchid displays, bonsai displays and contests. Did we mention the food? There are all kinds of different food booths being run by local charities featuring many favorite island dishes. Fair admission is $4 for adults, $2 for kids 5-11 and free for kids 4 and under.
