It seems like we have received quite a few inquiries lately from people who are relocating with pets. Some of the inquiries have raised concerns about Hawaii’s notorious pet quarantine laws. Hawaii is rabies free and the quarantine laws are in place to keep Rabies from spreading to our islands. The good news is that the standard 120 day quarantine is no longer a necessity. Those that prepare their pets and the associated paperwork can have their pets processed in 5 days or less. Pets that have had micro chip implants may be processed and released in the same day.
