Sometime around September, these shores start to show signs of life as storms start to march along the Gulf of Alaska. Fortuitously, we had a bit of a tease of winter when shoulder to waist high waves appeared on the coast. I can’t boast of a particularly glorious return to the water. If anything, the ocean continued to give me a lesson in humility as a couple of months off the water left my timing off and my conditioning poor. That being said, it was great to be playing in the beautiful waters of the Pacific.
