Maui was filled with off island visitors for Memorial Day weekend. I imagine most are leaving the island with a smile on their face as we had near perfect weather. The Jalberts spent Saturday celebrating Billy’s son Ryder’s third birthday. We had a small barbecue over at Laniupoko Beach Park near Lahaina. It was warm and sunny with a light breeze. Showers on the edge of the West Maui mountains produced a beautiful rainbow that shined for the better part of three to four hours. The kids had fun frolicking in the water, looking for fish and playing games. The adults had a good time out in the surf.
You couldn’t have asked for a much better weekend. We hope everyone else had a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
