Some of you may have noticed that my blog posts have been a little more sporadic than usual over the last week. Our family has been in town for the last two weeks. Between family activities and direct work with clients, I have chosen to put the Maui Real Estate blog on the back burner. The holiday season has seen a little bit of an uptick in local real estate activity. Traditionally, this is one of our busiest times of year for island visitors and that is holding true for this year as well. We have seen a pronounced increase in visitor traffic on the streets. Some of those visitors are looking at real estate as showing volumes have increased and we have seen a few properties going into escrow this week. It will be interesting to see how much of a bump visitor season provides to the real estate market this year. Of course, we will keep you posted on all of Maui’s Real Estate statistics on the Blog. You can look forward to the December statistics and a normal blogging regimen after the new year.
