Cold Front in Maui

We had a small cold front pass through Maui County this morning. On the mainland, winter cold fronts may mean big temperature drops and frozen precipitation. Typically on Maui, the fronts mean a shift in wind directions, a few degrees drop in temperature and some sort of precipitation. We saw some light rain this morning. It was a beautiful morning before the precipitation came in with spectacular lighting and dramatic clouds. Here are some photos Billy’s wife Carla snapped while out on a shoot.

A few pending rain squalls didn’t stop this fisherman from bringing in a nice catch.
