The 2007 EA Sports Maui Invitational will tip off tomorrow in Lahaina at the Lahaina Civic Center. This event is one of the premier early season college basketball tournaments. This year’s field will include Marquette, LSU, Oklahoma, Princeton, Duke, Arizona State, Illinois and host Chaminade. All but host Chaminade have been recent participants in the NCAA Tournament and Marquette and Duke are currently ranked in the top 25. As part of the festivities for the 2007 tournament, the Invitational also announced its 2009 field. The 2009 event hosted by Chaminade will include Louisville, Arizona, Gonzaga, Maryland, Vanderbilt and Colorado. It should be a great few days of hoops over in West Maui.
