For those that celebrate Hawaiian Culture or are interested in learning more about Hawaiian Culture, it is worth making the drive out to Hana this weekend for the East Maui Taro Festival. The event starts on Friday night with a symposium at Helene Hall at Hana Bay. Saturday is filled with activities including arts and crafts, food, hula, music and a Farmer’s Market at the Hana Ballpark. The event runs from 9:00-5:00 pm. The last day features a Taro Pancake breakfast in Hana as well as excursions to Hawaiian Cultural sites around East Maui.
