There are a couple of fun events happening this weekend on Maui in the North Shore and Upcountry areas respectively. Down in Paia, the Paia Youth and Cultural Center (PYCC) is having its annual Beachfest. The Beachfest is a body board, surf and body surf contest for kids and adults. The event runs both days and is a great chance to play and compete in the waters of Paia Bay or just spectate. Click Here, for more information on timing and registration.
If you are up in Kula on Saturday, bring the kids by the Surfing Goat Dairy for their 2nd Annual Baby Shower. This is the time of year when lots of newborn goat kids are running around the dairy.
