Want to help the kids of the North Shore, protect the environment and save money at all at once?! This week you have an opportunity to do all three as SOS Metals Island Recycling is offering free recycling of cars and scrap metal. Rather than charging their traditional fees, they are asking members of the community to make a donation to the Paia Youth and Cultural Center. Bring your vehicles and scrap to the SOS location at 2000 Mokulele Highway. All vehicles should be clean. Cars and trucks with extra tires, rubbish and/or debris will not be accepted. Donations to the PYCC are strongly encouraged but not required.
