Good Eats for a Good Cause

The Flatbread Company in Paia is having community night tomorrow night. On every Tuesday, Paia’s great pizza place holds a fund raiser where a portion of the proceeds from each pizza sold is donated to a selected local charity. Tomorrow night’s event will raise funds for the Paia Youth and Cultural Center’s radio station RadiOpio. RadiOPio has been on the air for about nine months. It has proven to be wildly popular. It recently began broadcasting world wide when the site began streaming over the Internet. Billy is the proud sponsor of the stream. The station needs funds for ongoing operations and to help raise a radio tower that would expand local coverage.
