The National Weather Service issued a High Surf Advisory for the South Shore of all Hawaiian Islands. The swell is expected to start rising Friday morning with a peak expected sometime on Friday evening dissipating slowly throughout the weekend. As always, the distance traveled leaves a fair amount of uncertainty regarding the size and consistency of the waves. Nonetheless, there should be a decent bump on Maui’s south shores. I hope all of Maui’s wave riders have a great weekend.
