When people talk about the Upcountry, generally they are talking about the beautiful communities of Makawao, Kula and Pukalani. These areas are situated on the Western flank of the Haleakala Volcano. The other Upcountry is situated on the east flank of the West Maui Mountains. The area has absolutly spectacular views of the North Shore of Maui, Haleakala, the city lights of the Central Valley and of course the beautiful Pacific Ocean. There are two beautiful subdivisions in this area. The cliffs at Kahakuloa is a small subdivision with 15 total lots between 2 and 4 acres. Maluhia Country Ranches is a beautiful subdivision of 48 lots spread over 248 acres. Lot sizes range between 2 and 20 acres.
