Kahoma Village is the largest new development in the Lahaina area in recent memory. Built between 2017 and 2020, the developer offered a combination of market rate and work force housing. The condominium property includes a mix of stand alone residences and townhome units. There are three distinct areas of the development.
The Courtyards neighborhood comprises two, three, and four-bedroom single-family homes. To ensure diversity within the community, the developer utilized five different floor plans and three different exterior facades. Notably, the developer designated twenty of the 69 homes in the area as work force housing, contributing to the overall affordability of the community.
The Courtyard residences feature fenced yards that offer residents a private and comfortable outdoor space. Additionally, front porches and attached two-car garages add to the overall convenience and appeal of the homes. Each residence provides between 1,116 and 1,588 square feet of finished living space, with 9-foot ceilings on the first floor. The developer equipped the kitchens with GE appliances and granite countertops, providing residents with a functional and stylish space to prepare meals.
The Carriage Ways
The Carriage Ways is a community of 32 standalone homes, each offering three or four bedrooms, two-and-a-half or three baths, and an attached garage. The developer provided three floor plans to choose from.
The Carriage Ways condos boast spacious interiors, with units ranging in size from 1,547 to 2,236 square feet. This ample living space provides residents with a comfortable environment.
The Villas Townhomes
The developer designated the Villas Townhomes for work force housing . These condos are clustered within 17 buildings, with each unit providing between 944 and 1,154 finished square feet of interior living space. There are six different floor plans including 2 and 3 bedroom residences. Due to purchase requirements, turnover and resales should be limited in this part of the development over the next few years.
Kahoma Village borders Honoapi’ilani Highway on one end and Front Street on the other. It is within a short walk of Baby Beach and just across the Kahoma Channel from the Cannery Mall. The Gateway Mall is on the other side of Honoapi’ilani. Needless to say, there is plenty of shopping close by. Great restaurants like Mala, Frida’s, Honu and Star Noodle are just a short walk away and the main strip of Front Street is a slightly longer walk or a quick bike ride.
