Kapalua Mauka Final Vote Postponed

The final vote on approval of Kapalua Mauka has been postponed until February 3rd. The delay was requested by county attorneys to insure that changes in the affordable housing component of the project did not conflict with the county rezoning bill. The delay allowed critics of the project another opportunity to voice concerns. The loudest complaints focused on infrastructure and whether the developers are contributing enough in light of the potential impact on the community. The Maui Real Estate Blog will continue to provide updated on Kapalua Mauka as they become available. For additional information on the last county meeting on the project, check out the Saturday article in the Maui News.
