Kihei Alii Kai
Kihei Alii Kai is a great little complex that flies under the radar of some condo buyers.It has 127 apartments spread over 4 buildings. The majority are one bedrooms with 20 two bedrooms. Fourth floor units in the complex have lofts. It is worth noting the size of the one bedrooms. They are spacious 700 square feet.
In addition to the size of the individual condos, Kihei Alii Kai has a number of strengths. The location is ideal. It is in South Maui within a 5 minute walk to a couple of great beaches in Kamaole I and Charley Young Beach Park. It is set off of South Kihei Road so it is quieter than a number of complexes in the area. At the same time, you are still within a short stroll to a number of shops and restaurants.
The complex itself boasts a lot of amenities. Kihei Alii Kai has a pool, barbecue area and Jacuzzi like many complexes. It distinguishes itself in that it offers tennis courts and covered parking at one end of the complex. Both attributes are less common in Kihei Condos. Also worth mentioning are the demographics of the complex. Kihei Alii Kai does allow vacation rentals. However, the majority of the complex’s tennants are long term renters and owner occupants. This tends to make the complex quieter and more tranquil.
