Kula Kai is a well established subdivision in Upcountry Maui. The neighborhood was originally developed in the early 1970s. Lot sizes range from a quarter acre up to around a half acre. Most are right around one third of an acre. Zoning allows for “ohanas” in the neighborhood. Many of the homes in the subdivision have nice ocean and West Maui Mountain views. The neighborhood is well situated in Kula just a short drive to Pukalani and Makawao. Kula Kai is around 20 minutes drive from Central Maui. Families will appreciate the proximity to both good public and private school options. Recent sales prices in the subdivision have ranged from the mid $600,000s up to $1,300,000. The difference in values is driven by views, quality and recency of improvements, size of the homes and the presence of an ohana.
