Maui Brewfest and Olukai Ho’olaulea Highlight Weekend Events

Topics

It looks like suds and surf are on the calendar for another beautiful weekend on Maui. The Maui Arts and Cultural Center will be hosting the annual Brewers festival tomorrow. This festival features tastings of craft or micro brewed beers from Hawaii and the mainland. In addition to the beer, there will be appetizers and deserts from various Island Restaurants. There will also be plenty of live music to accompany the libations. There is a special happy hour reception from 2:00-3:00 PM. General Admission runs from 3:00-7:00 PM. This event is a few years old and it is becoming more and more popular each year. Check out the MACC website for more information on participating breweries and ticket prices.

The 3rd Olukai Ho’olaulea is scheduled for this weekend along Maui’s North Shore. This celebration of watersports and Hawaiian Culture is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. It features stand up paddling, OC1 racing, sailing canoes, surfing canoes, ancient Hawaiian games and much more. You can see a full schedule of events and locations on the Olu Kai website. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
