Tomorrow is the start of the Maui County Fair at the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku. The event kicks off with County Fair Parade at 4:30 PM. The parade starts on the Maui Community College Campus, turns right onto Kaahumanu Avenue and proceeds to Kanaloa Avenue.
The fair grounds open to the public at 5:00 PM tomorrow and stay open until 11:00 PM. The fair runs from 5:00 PM to Midnight on Friday. Hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to Midnight on Saturday. Sunday is the last day of the fair with events running from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. General admission tickets are $5.00. Tickets for kids ages 5-11 are $2.00 and keiki 4 and under are free!
The fair offers fun for everyone with rides, games, live entertainment, exhibits and more food options than you could imagine. I never was much for amusement park rides, but I always enjoy going to see the agricultural exhibits. The orchid display which features the beautiful creations of Maui’s many talented orchid growers is always a favorite.
