The Maui Film Fesitval to be held June 15-19 in Wailea is starting to unveil information about this year’s events. It was learned on Monday that some of Hollywood’s brightest stars will be honored at this year’s festival. Award winners at the festival will include Marisa Tomei, Mike Myers, Jake Gylenhall, William H. Macy, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson and Andrew Wilson. These celebrities will be honored at galas at the Wailea Marriott. In addition to galas and parties, there will be outdoor screenings of films in Wailea as well as a number of other venues including the Maui Arts and Cultural Center and the Marriott Digital Skydome. Tickets will go on sale on May 27th and a comprehensive schedule of events will be released shortly. We will continue to provide updates on the schedule of events and film schedules. The event has been growing in size and stature with each passing year. This year promises to be the best one yet.
