The Maui Film Festival announced its schedule of films and events this week. The film festival which has steadily been growing in size and reputation since its inception looks like it is lined up for its biggest year yet. Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday June 15th. Highlights of opening day include the twilight reception at the Fairmont Kea Lani and showings of “The Perfect Man” and “Deep Blue” at the Wailea Celestial Cinema. The Maui Film Festival Runs for four days until Sunday June 19th. The festival includes daily screenings of documentaries and feature films in locations throughout Wailea and at the theaters of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Receptions will be held throughout the week to honor some of Hollywood’s brightest stars and other events such as the Taste of Wailea are also on tap.
