Maui Property Tax Appeal Deadline Rapidly Approaching

Friday April 9th is the deadline to file an appeal on your property tax assessment in Maui. With significant fluctuations in values over the last 5 or more years, there are likely to be quite a few Maui home owners who have disagreements with the assessed values for their properties. The Realtor’s Association of Maui has put together a good document on the guidelines for appealing a Maui Property Tax Assessment. The rate of success for appeals is pretty low.
