June has been a good month for festivals on Maui. We have already had the Maui Film Festival at Wailea, the Taiko Drum Festival and Slack Key Guitar Festival. This weekend, Kapalua is hosting the Kapalua Wine and Food Festival. The event is a real treat for gourmets and wine aficionados. The event includes wine and cooking seminars, dinners, tastings and even a golf tournament. The food for the is prepared by top chefs from throughout Maui and the wine is selected by some of the best sommeliers from around the country. There are still some tickets available a la carte for selected festival events. All of these events are of course located in the beautiful setting of the world renowned Kapalua Resort. This festival is just another example of some of the great events available to Maui residents and visitors.
