Last weekend’s Maui Film Festival at Wailea was a big success and a good time had by all. This weekend brings more fun festivals to the Valley Isle. The Kapalua Wine and Food Festival started earlier this week and runs through Sunday. This is the 29th edition of this event and it is always a big hit with connoisseurs of food and wine. Tickets are still available for tastings and the Sea Food Festival on Sunday Night. Check out the event website for more details.
Last but not least, the Ki Ho’alu Film Festival or Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival will be happening at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on Sunday. This FREE event is always a good opportunity to relax on the lawn of the events center and hear some of Hawaii’s best Slack Key Guitar artists. The music starts at 2:00 and runs until 7:00 PM. Check out the Maui Arts And Cultural Center website for more details on this weekend’s great lineup.
