Na Ali’i Hawaii State Champs!

The King Kekaulike Na Ali’i of Maui’s North Shore and Upcountry are the new Hawaii Division II State Football Champions. The Na Ali’i beat Kauai High last night at Aloha Stadium 33-20. While the Na Ali’i won last weeks game with offensive heroics, the state championship came home to the valley isle on the shoulders of King Kekaulike’s defense. The Na Ali’i scored three defensive touchdowns including two within 30 seconds to start the game. The Jalbert brothers want to extend their congratulations to all of the players for winning Maui’s first ever state championship in football. For more information on the game, check out the article in today’s Honolulu Advertiser.
