The American Solar Energy Society has selected this coming Saturday October 7th as the National Solar Tour. This will be the eleventh annual solar event showcasing solar and other renewable technologies. It also marks the first year that the state of Hawaii will be participating. The Hawaii PV Coalition will be organizing a tour of properties that use solar electric and solar hot water. The tour explains the function of the technologies, the cost of the technologies, the reasons to use solar energy and energy efficient technologies.
