The Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) recently announced its 2008-2009 season lineup. The MACC Season starts in September of every year. As usual, this year’s season blends local, Hawaiian Pacific Rim and International talent. Here are some of the renowned artists coming to the island over the next twelve months.

- Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
- Diana Krall
- Lines Ballet
- Rubberban Dance Group

These are just a few of the performers. Check out the Maui Arts Schedule for a complete calendar of events. There are also top performers who are added each year during the season. For example, the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band was just added to the schedule for a performance later this month. I have said it before and I will say it again, the MACC really is a jewel of Maui. It does a great job of highlighting Hawaiian Culture while bringing gifted artists and performers from all over the world to Maui. Hopefully, I will see some of you at the MACC in the near future.
