The signs of fall are starting to appear on Maui. Shorter days, a slight dip of temperatures and the return of winter surf all mark our transition away from summer. From what I have heard from friends on the mainland, the shift to fall is becoming more pronounced as a nip comes to the air, the leaves change and in the western states the mountain peaks see their first dustings of snow. For many, that shift brings thoughts of Maui. If you are craving a little Maui warmth, I thought you might appreciate this quick video I shot while walking on Baldwin Beach last evening.
The sunset colors were a little muted last night, but it was still a pretty magical evening. I used the sepia tone to enhance the golden light that we so frequently experience in the hour leading up to sunset. I hope you enjoy.
