Official August 2010 Maui Real Estate Statistics

Last week, the Realtors Association of Maui (RAM) posted their official August 2010 Maui Real Estate Statistics. There was only one change from our unofficial August statistics that we had posted the week prior. There was one additional home sale reported. Of course, the official stats do have a little more detail. There is historical data and community level data that we don’t provide in our unofficial numbers. The other thing that RAM tracks that I think is important is the total inventory or properties per sale on a monthly basis. The expansion and contraction of inventory can have an impact on future pricing. For this month, homes and condo inventory continued to decrease while land volume continued to increase. Without further ado, here is a link to the official August 2010 Maui Real Estate Statistics.

On a related note, stay tuned for additional statistical posts coming on The Maui Real Estate Blog. We have some fun new tools at our disposal that will allow us to present some interesting community level and island wide data. We will also continue to do our unofficial Maui Real Estate Statistics posts and official stats. Our goal is to continue to provide quality market data for buyers and sellers.
