The Realtors Association of Maui posted their official Maui Real Estate statistics for the month of July at the end of last week. There is not too much difference from what I posted on August 3rd in the “unofficial” statistics. There is of course more detail on individual communities and comparative historical data going back to January 2004. The one pretty cool thing that RAM did with this month’s stats is that they actually went back and revised the stats for the whole year. As I had mentioned a couple of weeks back, Honua Kai has recently reported a number of sales from earlier this year. These sales have now been incorporated into the official stats. These stats will need to be adjusted again next month as even more old Honua Kai closings have been reported in the last week. While we now have a more accurate portrait of closings on island, the sheer volume of Honua Kai sales are really going to start to skew the condo statistics. All of that being said, here is a link to the official July 2009 Maui Real Estate Statistics.
