Official May 2011 Maui Real Estate Statistics

The Realtors Association of Maui posted their Official May 2011 Maui Real Estate Statistics last week. Their numbers were the same as what I had posted back on the first of the month in my unofficial May Maui Real Estate stats. The RAM stats offer additional granularity and historical context with community level sales numbers and monthly sales volumes and median prices going back five years. Another interesting component of the official stats is located in the stats overview. The Realtors Association has been keeping tab on the total inventory over the last couple of years. We are continuing to see a trend of a shrinking inventory. There have been three straight months of decreased inventories across all property types. A smaller inventory could lead to more price stability. That being said, the demand side of the equation remains something of a an unknown with the current overall economic uncertainty. As always, if you have questions on any of the statistics, please feel free to contact The Maui Real Estate Team. We are happy to offer our assistance with your Maui Real Estate needs.
