Oma’opio Ridge is a gated 18 lot subdivision located in lower Kula. The developer sized lots between 5 and 9 acres to give owners a sense of space and privacy. Other subdivision features include underground utilities, a private water system, and a large photovoltaic system to power the water system pump. The developer created recommended building spots on each lot to preserve view planes. Lots in the neighborhood have varied views depending on orientation. Some face towards Kahului Harbor, others look more towards Ma’alaea Bay. Regardless, all lots provide attractive vistas from the home sites. The developer also created CCRs and design criteria homes to ensure continuity and quality in the community.
Oma’opio Ridge is nestled on the west flank of Haleakala at an elevation of roughly 1,300 square feet. This part of Maui is dry and sun kissed with warm days and cool nights. Residents appreciate the neighborhood’s quick access down the hill to Central Maui and North Shore Beaches. A number of the island’s best schools are located less than 20 minutes from the gates subdivision.
Being that this is a small subdivision, there are times when there will be no homes available in Oma’opio Ridge.
