Maui is known as a haven for artists. The natural landscape encourages residents to express their vision and it draws artists from other parts of the world to create on this beautiful island. This environment has led to a proliferation of galleries all over the island. Recently, a new and unique gallery opened in our town of Paia. The Paia Contemporary Gallery features the work of artists Akira Iha, Alejandro Goya, Brad Huck and Ken Briner. The art is beautiful as is the space that showcases the art. They even offer Yoga classes at the gallery twice a week with classes on Wednesday and Saturday at 8:30 AM. Next time you are in Paia town, take a moment to enjoy the gallery. They are located on Hana Highway two store fronts to the West of Flatbread.
