Price Reductions on Haiku Properties

Our 5.8 acre listing out in Haiku just had a nice price reduction. This is an interesting opportunity at a new and improved price. This property consists of two parcels. One is roughly 4.3 acres with a fixer upper cottage. The cottage definitely needs work, but the land around it has been lovingly planted with a variety of tropical flowers and fruit. The existing cottage is under 1,000 square feet so it may still be eligible for a primary residence. The other parcel is just under 1.5 acres. This gently sloped lot has a number of good potential building spots.

In addition to the price reductions, the seller continues to prepare the property for new owners. Recent improvements include:

  • Portable water well to service both parcels.
  • Widening and graveling of the property access.
  • Removal of the Old uninhabitable structure from 1.49 acre parcel
  • Removal of an old water tank from the 4.25 acre parcel.
  • Archeologist approval for future development. Monitoring plans have been developed.

The property is on the ocean side of Hana Highway in the drier Western area of Haiku. The property offers a real sense of seclusion with only one other property in the valley. However, you are only 5 minutes from Haiku school and less than ten minutes to Ho’okipa Beach Park. You can buy the parcels together at a discount or each one individually. All three have been reduced in price. The 1.49 acres of vacant land is available for $315,000. The cottage on 4.3 acres is available for $549,000, or you can purchase the whole package for $799,000.
