If you are a North Shore or Upcountry Resident with kids, you have a tremendous resource available in the Paia Youth and Cultural Center. PYCC runs a variety of activities including a skate park, a radio station, a cafe, a multi media lab, outdoor activities, yoga and community activities. It is a great place for kids to laugh, learn and stay out of trouble. If you are considering a year end philanthropic contribution, consider the youth and cultural center. They always need funds for general operations and need funds for a couple of specific projects. If you have enjoyed listening to their radio station, you may want to consider donating to help KOPO erect a new transmission tower. This great little radio station has developed a legion of fans both for its great selection of music and the great kids who DJ on the station. The station needs funds to help purchase and build the new radio tower that will help expand its broadcasting area. If you listen to the radio station, you likely have heard their radio spot about the Youth Center’s leaky roof. PYCC needs roof repairs and other physical repairs to the property. They are seeking donations to fund these efforts. Click Here to donate today!
