Round II of the 980 East Kuiaha Dutch Auction

Topics

Today, we started the second round of our Dutch Auction on 980 East Kuiaha Road in Haiku. This great home was reduced in price today from $857,543 to $841,234. If you aren’t familiar with the Dutch Auction concept, it is a descending price auction designed to encourage the quick sale of the item being “auctioned”. It is named after the auctions that were held during the Dutch Tulip Craze in the 1600’s. The owners of 980 East Kuiaha have asked us to sell the home as quickly as possible while establishing a market price.

This beautiful property really is a botanical wonderland. There are 16 varieties of palms, 8 different species of fruit trees, 9 varieties of bamboo, 7 different types of ginger and heliconia and more. The grounds are spectacular, but it wouldn’t be fair to overlook the home. It is a very nice 4 bedroom, 4 bath home with great ocean and mountain views. There are gorgeous vaulted, open-beam ceilings, nice woodwork throughout and a wrap-around lanai that enables much desired indoor / outdoor living. Owners have recently upgraded the property, paved the driveway, added a detached studio and maintained the home very well. It shows pride of ownership and quality throughout.
