Snow on Top of Haleakala

Some days you wish you had a really good camera. Today is one of those days. I just walked out of the office and took a look up towards Haleakala. Not only was the summit crystal clear, but it was quite evident that this weekend’s thunderstorms had left a coating of snow on the summit. This is the first time I have been able to see snow on the summit with my own eyes. I have to say it was a bit odd to be looking at a snow covered mountain top in my shorts, aloha shirt and flip flops.
