South Shores High Surf

A High Surf Advisory has been issued for the South Shores of the Hawaiian Islands. Advisory level surf has been hitting the south shore since Thursday night. The swell peaked yesterday and will continue to decline slowly over the next couple of days. I have yet to make it over for the surf, but I have heard good reports from friends who have been out at breaks on both the south and the west sides. There have been some pretty good lulls between sets, but the sets have had numerous waves. Selected spots have been picking up overhead surf, with other spots in the shoulder high range.
