The Maui News reported yesterday that Henry Spencer’s new development in Spreckelsville has been given an initial OK to move forward. Spencer was generally praised by Maui Council Members for his willingness to work with the community and his decision to preserve open space. Spencer’s development will consist of 16 half acre to acre sized lots. It appears that two additional beach front lots that would have fetched prices in the millions will be used for open space.
