It is hard to beat a Maui Sunset and the period of golden light that proceeds the actual sunset. Here is a quick time lapse showing the golden hour as we approach sunset at Ukumeahame Beach Park over on the West Side of Maui.

Billy and I had the opportunity to attend a broker’s open house up in the beautiful Plantation Estates neighborhood in Kapalua last night. The event was hosted by Maui Estates International at an estate property situated on the 16th hole of the renowned Plantation Course. As you can see from the picture below, the views are pretty extraordinary. This home is currently offered at $10,900,000.

There were some family friends in from out of town this weekend. We took them down to the neighborhood beach for a sunset picnic. Here is a nice shot at beautiful Sugar Cove.

As I was headed home from Paia last night, I had a tough time keeping my eyes on the road with the sunset light show going on overhead. I pulled off Hana Highway by the entrance of Baldwin Beach Park to take some pictures.

While the North Shore of Maui doesn’t have views of the sun dipping into the Pacific, the photos above show we can still have some pretty stunning sunsets.
