Billy and I had the chance to attend the Celestial Cinema at the Maui Film Festival in Wailea Thursday night. It was a fun night of movies under the stars. That being said, the sunset before the event may have stolen the show.
Here are some photos from yesterday’s sunset taken from Palauea Beach or White Rock Beach in Makena and Sugar Cove in Spreckelsville.
A week or so back, I set up a tripod with my iPhone and took a time lapse video of Sugar Cove in Spreckelsville. It was just around sunset and there were a few people on the beach playing with their dogs and enjoying the afternoon surf.

Its another beautiful Sunday afternoon on Maui. I thought I would post a couple of pictures I took last night around sunset. I have been playing with exposure on my Canon Point and Shoot. Light trades and palm fronds can make some cool effects with a little time exposure.
