Taste of Lahaina

The Taste of Lahaina is being held this weekend at the Lahaina Recreational Field #2 across from the Lahaiana Aquatic Center. This is the twelfth annual event with crowds expected to reach between 10,000 and 12,000. The event includes food from 20 different chefs, a beer and wine garden, musical performances from some of the islands best musicians and a kids zone. Admission is $5 with food and drink available by purchasing scrip. VIP seating is available for $65. This includes a sit down dinner area and $30 in food and drinks. The various chefs compete against each other in competition with prizes at stake. The event also booths where attendees can purchase local produce ranging from Beef, to goat cheese, to coffee and pineapples. The event runs from 5:00 to 10:00 PM tonight and tomorrow. It should be a great event for all.
